How Rêve x Rae got started

Rêve x Rae was inspired by dream events and experiences. From a young age, I had a passion for events, gatherings, and a fun tablescape. I was the "planning friend" of the group and ensured everyone was having the best time. I planned my first event when I was 14 years old for my 14th birthday party and invited as many classmates as my parents would allow to fill up our living room. It was an epic halloween costume party and a movie night. I am now in my thirties, an event professional, and in my hosting era.

I love being surrounded by friends and family to share and create moments together. My goal with Rêve x Rae is to inspire you to plan and create your own memories with your circle of friends and family and to become the host with the most!

What you can expect from Rêve x Rae

Rêve was created with the mindset that if you can dream it, you can do it. The Rêve blog will share event inspiration and ideas for the dreamers and doers. To share that event planning can and should be fun. Rêve is here to show you that your dream events are possible and that now is your time to plan. The Rêve blog will provide ideas for all events and experiences ranging from a hosted dinner party, brunch, date nights, girls’ nights, birthdays, showers, and weddings! I will share my process of how I planned a few of my favorite events and I'm excited for you to follow along for all the upcoming events planned for the new year!

Events should be unique and memorable, Rêve will share unique ideas for every event that is shared. One of my favorite unique details that I have done was at my own wedding. It was a intimate destination wedding in the south of France. My husband and I wrote a letter to every table with a memory for each guest that they were able to read aloud. We wanted our guests to know how much we valued their friendship, love, and support as they traveled near and far and it was also a great icebreaker for the guests.
